  • Not at all! Your first session is designed to ease you in, not overwhelm you. Your coach will guide you through and you’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable. The focus will be on helping you feel confident, supported, and excited to begin — not on pushing you too hard. You’ll have already taken the hardest step by starting.

  • Don’t worry — your first session is all about getting comfortable, not being perfect. Everyone starts somewhere, and your trainer will guide you through everything step by step. What really matters is that you’re showing up, and that already puts you on the right path.

  • Strength training is essential for everyone. Not only to help build muscle and strengthen bones but also to counter the impact of aging, which sees muscle loss of around 5% a year after the age of 30.

    In small groups of 8, our coaches deliver a personal training level of guidance and support.

    It’s suitable for all levels, especially those new to weight training, using dumbbells, barbells and benches.

    The session is rounded off with 5 minutes on the bike or other cardio exercise.

  • They’re designed to help you get the most out of a single session.

    This session incorporates strength training to help you build muscle and bone density, and cardio to help you build heart and lung health.

    Our coaches will guide you through around 20 minutes of strength training, using dumbbells, barbells and body weight, giving you personal guidance and support.

    The cardio is split into two blocks, 10 minutes on the bike and 10 minutes of intervals of your choice (such as on the bike or pad boxing).

    The session is a small group of 8, ensuring safe and effective delivery and adaptation to suit your needs.

  • Our music-powered indoor cycle sessions in partnership with Cycle Society make fitness fun, energising, and are easier on the joints than other forms of cardio such as running.

    With uplifting beats to guide the pace, you’ll ride at your own level on a bike that’s gentle on the body yet powerful for building heart & lung health, lower body strength, and confidence.

    No experience needed, you set the resistance, we provide the music and motivation. These sessions focus on delivering a challenging workout whilst feeling like a great time out, leaving you with more energy & boosting your mood.

    Each session will have a specific focus such as intervals or hill climbs.

  • This is a low-impact, full-body 30 minute stretching session designed to improve flexibility, mobility, posture and core strength. It combines elements of dynamic and static stretching, often incorporating gentle movements and bodyweight exercises to release tension and elongate your muscles.

    The benefits of a stretch session include:

    • Improved flexibility and range of motion

    • Reduced muscle stiffness and tension

    • Better posture and alignment

    • Enhanced relaxation and stress relief

    • Support for injury prevention and recovery

    Suitable for all levels, with the exception of prenatal women and those less than 6 months postnatal.

    We provide all the equipment you need including mats, but if you would prefer to bring your own mat that is fine with us.

  • A Myzone belt is a versatile fitness tracker and in our view one of the best ways to drive consistency in your training and keep yourself accountable.   • We understand that even the best-laid plans can change, but if you need to cancel your session booking, please do this within the 'My Account' section of the website or easily on your Momence app.

    In order for us to provide the best service to all customers, if you need to cancel a studio session booking you must do so at least 12 hours before the session start time to avoid losing your credit. Also, remember to check out the full timetable to find an alternative session to attend. Our cancellation policy is available here in full.

  • It is an app available on your apple or android device that will connect to your studio bike as well as your heart rate monitor (if you wear one).

    It’s completely optional, but in all Cycle sessions you’ll be given a ticket to ride (a four digit number) that you put in to the app and this will then allow you to see the profile of the ride and the intensity and duration of every period of work.

    Once connected to your studio bike the app will also give you real time information about the power (your intensity) that you are currently working at; this makes it really simple to understand how hard you should be working throughout the session, and your performance against that expectation.

    We will show you how to connect your studio bike to the app before the start of your Cycle session if you’ve not done it before (and your heart rate monitor if you wear one).
