How much fitness is enough to get to where you want to be?

A group fitness session with clients doing seated bicep curls

Whilst more isn’t always better when it comes to exercise, for many people the result they're looking to achieve isn't matched by the effort they're putting in.

For most people to achieve their goals the sweet spot is

3-5 sessions a week:

- Strength sessions at least twice a week

- A total of 75-150 mins of vigorous cardio activity (2-3 sessions)

This is enough to make progress, whilst not so much that recovery or motivation suffers.

This balance is exactly what the FASED approach is built around.  We believe in starting with a realistic aim of 2-3 sessions a week & building a fitness routine that is sustainable.
